The People Died In War, Because Of This Major Reason

September 25, 2020 by ddmionline

Good day Saints in Christ Jesus. You are all welcome to another new day. Glory to God for the gift of life.

In our today’s episode 546 of studying and understanding the Bible, we shall be looking into the book of Ezekiel Chapter 6 titled:

The People Died In War Because of This Major Reason

Let’s face this simple truth: living in sin and all forms of immorality, rebellious behaviour and their attendant evils can only happen outside of God.

Inside God, there is no sin, there are no evils and calamities. But when men decide to live out side of God by way of rejecting His offer of Salvation, that’s when they become vulnerable to the devil and his atrocities as outlined in today’s Chapter and many other places in the Bible.

God foresaw dangers of war, diseases and famine coming to the Jews as consequences of their decision to live outside of Him, He therefore sent His Prophets to them to warn them ahead.

If they listen and obey, they are saved and if they rebel, they perish in those calamities. Remember, God didn’t cause those calamities. They happened because men transgressed and they faced the consequences of their actions as evident in the lives of the first human that God created in His own image (Adam and Eve).

Now looking at today’s study, Ezekiel Chapter 6 reveals another prophecy given to Prophet Ezekiel.

In verse 3, he was asked to speak against the mountains, the hills, the gorges, and the valleys in Israel about the destruction coming to them.

Why those locations?

Because those were the places where their idols and shrines were located. Those were the places where they communicate with the fallen angels that turned themselves into idols to be worshipped instead of the only true God.

Despite the enormous effect of those calamities on them, God’s mercy still prevailed because according to the prophecy, there would still be those that would be saved and would worship the only true God.

Lessons To Learn

You do not need to construct images, shrines or any form of object to access God. God is not a physical being. He is absolutely a Spiritual Being. Please read Acts 17:23-25 and then John 4:24

God dwells inside of you and you are in God. Jesus Christ made this happen already. Please read Gal 2:20; Eph 2:6

Whatever you regard or reverence more than God has become an idol in your life. Not only those who have physical shrines worship idols. Remember, they almost turned Paul and Barnabas into idols to be worshipped. Acts 14:11-15.

Thank God for these genuine Apostles of Christ, who instantly rejected the offer and tore their clothes in humility before the only true God.

This is a big lesson to us all.

To be continued…stay tuned and stay blessed.

Let us pray:

I declare you will not be led astray to dishonor God in any way and the grace to be careful always, God will grant unto us all, in Jesus name.

Every evil altar set up against you or any member of your family is hereby crushed into nothingness, in Jesus name.

I call you blessed now and always.
