Studying and Understanding the Bible – Part 426

Dear Saints in Christ Jesus…
We give glory to God for the gift of another new day, we thank God for the privilege of life and for His unending mercy and grace upon us always. Praise God!

STUDYING AND UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE – PART 426

Isaiah Chapter 45 continued…

It’s amazing to examine why God would use a Gentile king to liberate the Jews.

Normally, every liberator or rescuer of the Jews or Israelites have been coming from within and they are usually anointed by Prophets.

However, in this case the rescuer didn’t come from within, but from far Persia. He invaded Babylon, took over power and set the Jews free and even helped them to rebuild their temple.

Why did God choose to use him?

Let’s examine some few reasons right there in the Bible…

👉Cyrus was a man created by God for such purpose. God has an agenda for his life and has been holding him by the hand leading him along the journey of his life. He had a purpose and God ensured he fulfilled that purpose.

Let’s read…

Isaiah 44:28 TPT
I say concerning Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd, and he will carry out all the purposes I have for him,’ saying to Jerusalem, ‘You will be rebuilt and flourish again!’ saying to the temple, ‘You will be reconstructed!’

Every human being including you reading this message was created by God for a purpose on earth.

It’s very important we know that purpose and key into it.

How?

Cyrus discovered his own purpose already prophesied and written in the Scriptures. Prophet Isaiah already knew his name 150 years earlier before he became King.

When you study the Scriptures, God will begin to open your eyes to see deep things about your life and how you can function on earth the way He wants you to function.

👉Another reason God chose Cyrus is because God does not show favouritism. He can pick anyone He likes to use. He said the same thing to Apostle Peter when he was sent to the house of Cornelius to preach.

Acts 10:28 TPT
Peter said to them, “You all know that it is against the Jewish laws for me to associate with or even visit the home of one who is not a Jew. Yet God has shown me that I should never view anyone as inferior or ritually unclean.

👉Cyrus had a remarkable military career and he could look back on his life and definitely see the hand of God protecting him along the way.

👉Another reason is because God wanted to use Cyrus for evangelism – to spread the greatness of God to many people so that through him, many will be drawn to God.

Isaiah 45:5-6 TPT
I am Yahweh, the only God there is, and you’ll never find another. I will strengthen you for victory, even though you do not intimately know who I am.

[6] Yet through you everyone will know who I really am. Those from the rising sun in the east to the west, everyone everywhere will know that I am Yahweh, the one and only God, and there is no other.

Listen people of God…the reason you are alive now is because God is not done with you yet. He still has a lot to accomplish through you.

That particular area you are so good at, God wants to use it in a remarkable way to bring liberation to people around you and bring glory to His name alone.

Forget about how many failures you have recorded and your rising and falling. God knows how to convert all of them into shaping you into becoming the best version of you.

Let me close with this:

Psalms 139:14-17
[14]I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

[15]My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

[16]Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

[17]How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

To be continued…Praise God.

Our prayers for everyone on this platform:

By the authority in the name of Jesus Christ,

👉The Lord God will use you to affect many lives positively and to bring glory to His name, in Jesus name.

👉All the disappointments, heartbreaks or even failures you might have encountered in the past, God will turn them around to shape your life as a carrier and transmitter of amazing testimonies.

👉Through you, many people will know God and be drawn to Him, in Jesus name.

Bible readings for today: 2Samuel Chapters 1, 2 & 3 with Proverbs 30

I call you blessed now and always.
