New Year Message 2023 – Our Year of Rising Impacts!

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint.”
~Isaiah 40:31

The Israelites who first received this promise were worn out from their hardship. They had lived in exile in Babylon for several decades. Their perspective was darkened by despairing thoughts: “My way is hidden from the Lord, and my right is disregarded by my God” (Isa. 40:27). They thought God either couldn’t help or didn’t care. Isaiah uses a pair of words—faint and weary—three times in the span of a few verses here (Isa. 40:27-31). They were exhausted and burdened from the circumstances of life. Hello October!!!

Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity and grace to see this beautiful month! Many started this year, but today, they are no more. We are not using this as a medium to mock them, but rather, as an opportunity to express our heart of gratitude for the privilege given to us.

Lord, we come before your throne, humbly bowed, to plead for mercy for all our transgressions; we plead for forgiveness for all our sins, have mercy upon us. It’s the first day of the month; we decree that this day shall mark a new beginning for us and our families in the name of Jesus Christ. This day shall mark the beginning of more opportunities, financial breakthroughs, uncommon favor, great grace, and amazing blessings for us. May it be the beginning of a great revolutionary change for the better in all ramifications of our lives, in Jesus’ name.
