Later, Baruch was invited to come and read the scroll to the officials, who after listening deemed it fit to let the king know about it. But before they could report to the king, they advised Baruch to go and inform Jeremiah that they must hide themselves because by the time the king would hear about it, he wont find it funny at all, because the scroll was loaded with bitter truths.

So, whatever you may be passing through at the moment has an expiry date. It’s a phase which is going to form part of your success stories and it will pass. You will surely laugh in the end. Cheer up!
According to Jeremiah’s words of encouragement, only God has a good plan for them. The plan is not to harm them but to bring them prosperity and not disaster, to give them a bright future they hoped for. Verse 10-11
That they should focus on serving God and seeking Him, calling upon Him and surely, God would answer them, and they would find God, since He was never far from them. Verse 12-14
Not all those who call themselves Pastors, Apostles or Prophets are truly serving God. Many of them are agents of darkness and you need the Spirit of discernment to recognise them.
You will know them by their fruit and what they preach. Forget about their many years of experience in ministry. If they can’t get the message of Salvation right, then there is no message of the Bible they can get right. It will be manipulations upon manipulations.
The truth is, when it comes to prophetic matters, age is not a barrier, which God Himself already made clear to Jeremiah in chapter 1 and he has been instructed not to be afraid of them because they would definitely come after him, which we have seen repeatedly in many chapters.
