There are three levels of the prophetic
A. Born to be a prophet like Jeremiah
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

B. Called to be a prophet like Amos
Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit: And the Lord took me as I followed the flock, and the Lord said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
– Amos 7:14-15 KJV
C. Became a prophet like Elisha.
Elisha was a farmer. He started following Elijah and started washing his feet.
So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him. And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee? And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.

YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND YOUR OFFICE AND YOUR FUNCTIONALITY.
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

Nicodemus: HIS NAME
He is a pharisee – OFFICE
He is a Ruler – FUNCTIONALITY
THE FUNCTIONALITY OF A PROPHET
If God calls you to be a prophet, it doesn’t mean that your functionality is necessarily in the prophetic.Abraham was called a prophet by God but his functionality was FAITH.
Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine. [9] Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.
– Genesis 20:7,9 KJV
You can be an evangelist and have the functionality of a prophet. You don’t have to call yourself a prophet except if you have been anointed for that office. Because the office you put yourself in attracts demons and unclean spirits.
AND if you don’t have the power, rank, and authority in that office, they will destroy you.
That’s why some pastors call for help when they meet certain deliverance issues because they don’t have the capacity to defeat those unclean spirits.
Some are operating in the wrong office because they put themselves in that office because of the functionality.
Some pastors are in a congregation that won’t grow for several years because they put themselves in that role due to their functionality.
THIS IS A CALL TO DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE!
You need to position yourself to understand your office and operate in your functionality.
WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
AND WHAT IS YOUR FUNCTIONALITY??
How do you start SEEING IN THE REALM of the Spirit? The anointing you SIT UNDER IS THE ANOINTING you become. You cannot sit under an Evangelist and start to operate in the prophetic.
YOU NEED TO FIND THE LEVEL OF YOUR FUNCTIONALITY.
Saul had to FIND SAMUEL
And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?

YOU CAN’T COLLECT FROM A PROPHET unless you CONNECT with that PROPHET.
Saul said to his servant, we cannot go to the prophet empty handed.
LET’S GO AND SOW A SEED.
He sowed and connected with that ANOINTING!
AND he was told that he would meet a group of prophets and start to PROPHESY.
WHEN A GIFT IS IMPARTED or REPLICATED in you, YOU STILL NEED AN ATMOSPHERE for the PROPHETIC.
His motive was pure.
Saul sustained the prophetic anointing of Samuel with a seed and that same anointing maintained the gift that he received from the prophet.
AND PEOPLE WERE ASTONISHED.
The grace of your father in the prophetic determines how you flow.. You cannot sit under a prophet who does not call people’s names and expect to start calling names.
