Happy New Month of July!

As we begin this new month, let us focus on the theme of “Rising Impacts Through Sacrificial Life,” inspired by Romans 12:1-2:

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.”

In this passage, we are reminded of the importance of offering ourselves as living sacrifices to God, dedicating our lives to serving Him and others with a sacrificial spirit. Let us be willing to put others’ needs before our own and make a positive impact in the lives of those around us.

As we seek to rise in impact, let us:

Be Humble: Recognize that it is not about seeking recognition or personal gain but about serving with humility and love.

Love Unconditionally: Embrace the sacrificial love shown by Christ and extend it to our families, friends, and even strangers.

Serve Others: Look for opportunities to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, and support those in need.

Spread Kindness: Share acts of kindness wherever we go, knowing that even the smallest gesture can make a significant impact.

Pray Diligently: Stay connected to God through prayer, seeking His guidance and strength as we go about our daily endeavors.

Live with Integrity: Let our actions align with our beliefs, living lives of integrity that inspire and encourage others.

Be Grateful: Recognize the blessings we have received and express gratitude by giving back and being a blessing to others.

Welcome May,

Our Month of Rising Impacts Through Reasonable Service (Romans 12:1-2).

As we begin this new month, let us remember that we have been called to love God and serve others with kindness. Our service to others should be done in a way that is reasonable and pleasing to God. This means that we must use our gifts and talents to make a positive impact on the world around us.

Let us be mindful of the words of Romans 12:1-2, which encourage us to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, and to not conform to the patterns of this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

May we seek to renew our minds this month, so that we may better understand how we can serve others in a way that is pleasing to God. May we also remember that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a significant impact on those around us.

Let us rise to the occasion this May and make a positive difference in the world. May we serve with love and kindness, and may our service be reasonable and pleasing to God.
