The Humble One who Lives in Awe of God

July 17, 2020 by ddmionline

Good day Saints in Christ Jesus. It’s another brand new day.
We give glory to God for the privilege of life and for His unending mercy and grace upon us always. Praise God!

STUDYING AND UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE – PART 475

Isaiah Chapter 66 continued…

We learnt yesterday about how God shifted the attention of the Israelites from a physical building to an contrite heart. A heart that has been renewed and becomes humble before God. A heart that readily obeys God’s Word.

That’s the true temple that God is helping us to understand from that passage. Do you have that kind of heart?

Isaiah 66:2 TPT
“But there is one my eyes are drawn to: the humble one, the tender one, the trembling one who lives in awe of all I say.”

Today, we will proceed further by looking into some very popular verses. These are verses that some people are yet to come to term with their full meaning or interpretation.

It’s very common to see various churches using these verses for child bearing or praying for those looking for the fruits of the womb.

Are those verses really talking about the fruits of the womb or they’re mere figurative expressions? Let’s read some of them…

Isaiah 66:7-9
[7]Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

[8]Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

[9]Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

What Prophet Isaiah prophesied about in the above verses had nothing to do with physical child bearing as such. As a matter of fact, it’s literal meaning had been fulfilled already around 1948 when the nation of Israel was reborn politically.

However, it was a figurative expression that talks about the spiritual birth of believers in Christ, which is the New Covenant Church and this happened already when Jesus resurrected and the first New Covenant Church was birthed at Pentecost by the Holy Spirit. We can see more details in Acts 2:1-4

Does this mean we shouldn’t pray for those due to give birth or those looking for the fruits of the womb? I didn’t say that but then, let’s learn to rightly divide and apply the Word of truth.

Essentially, when Jesus died and resurrected, He gave birth to Sons for God the Father. That’s why the Bible says every believer is in Zion already (Christ).

Hebrews 12:22-24
[22]But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.

[23]To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.

[24]And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

No wonder Isaiah says: “…Yet no sooner does Zion go into labor than she gives birth to sons!”

Hebrews 2:9-10
[9]But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

[10]For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

The question is: Are you a son of the Father; a co-son with Christ?

To be continued…Praise God.

Prayers: By the authority in the name of Jesus:

👉I declare you are loaded with the treasures of God’s grace containing the mysteries of God’s Salvation, through which others around you will be blessed, in Jesus name.

👉Your generation will behold you and rejoice for the volume of potentials that God has deposited in you to advance His Kingdom on earth and you will maximize them to God’s satisfaction, in Jesus name.

👉I declare concerning those looking for the fruits of the womb or those due to give birth, God’s power is at work in you right now to bring forth that miracle baby for you, in Jesus name.

👉Concerning those looking up to God for who to marry, the Lord God will connect you with the right person, in Jesus name.

Bible readings for today: 1 Chronicles Chapters 18, 19 & 20 with Songs of Solomon Chapter 2.

I call you blessed now and always.
